🎨 Need more ideas to help your play therapy clients with anxiety, panic and trauma heal? Research shows the powerful effects of utilizing the imagination in play therapy and incorporating prompts like art, drawing and crafts to heal.
🧠 Join us as we explore parts of the brain impacted by playful art prompts and the benefits available for clients of all ages, including you, the play therapist.
In this 3 hour training, participants will
✅ Leave with a plan to implement art related prompts in play therapy sessions with children, teens and adults
✅ Explore various parts of the brain that are engaged during play therapy art sessions
✅ Explore the impact of attachment during art sessions with play therapy clients
✅ Explore different DSM Diagnoses and how art related prompts and tools can be applied during a play therapy session
✅ Practice playful art related activities during the training that can later be used with clients in individual, group and family sessions.
🎨 Participants will be required to create various art related projects during the 3 hour session. In order to receive CE credit, participants will be asked to break off into ZOOM groups to share their projects. COME PREPARED WITH PAPER, MARKERS, CRAYONS AND ANY ADDITIONAL TOOLS YOU MAY WISH TO USE DURING THE TRAINING. FULL PARTICIPATION IS REQUIRED.

Gabrielle Anderson, the teacher for this training is an LMFT, RPT-S and virtual Meditation Teacher. She has a specialty in stress management, anxiety and trauma with her private practice clients and utilizes brain based Mindful Meditation when appropriate.
