Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
✅ Describe the areas of the brain engaged in and positively impacted by art in play therapy
✅ Explain how art can promote healing, regulation, and integration in play therapy clients
✅ Identify 5 art interventions/activities for use with a variety of diagnoses and populations in a play therapy session
🎨 Participants will be required to create various art related projects during the 3 hour session. In order to receive CE credit, participants will be asked to break off into ZOOM groups to share their projects. COME PREPARED WITH PAPER, MARKERS, CRAYONS AND ANY ADDITIONAL TOOLS YOU MAY WISH TO USE DURING THE TRAINING. FULL PARTICIPATION IS REQUIRED.

Gabrielle Anderson, the teacher for this training is an LMFT, RPT-S and virtual Meditation Teacher. She has a specialty in stress management, anxiety and trauma with her private practice clients and utilizes brain based Mindful Meditation when appropriate.
