In this training, explore how to assess where your play therapy supervisee is developmentally and feel confident in supporting what they are capable of doing WITHOUT micromanaging. Explore the similarities between the Developmental Supervision Model AND the Ecosystemic Play Therapy Model.
This training meets many supervisor CE requirements as well as Play Therapy CEs with CEs from NBCC and APT.

Learning Objectives
Upon the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
✅ Discuss the literature and research on the developmental stages of a supervisee
✅ Explore the similarities between the Developmental Supervision Model AND the Ecosystemic Play Therapy Model.
✅ Describe the apprenticeship model and how to apply it in play therapy supervision
✅ Identify ways to enhance play therapy session observations in assessing and providing feedback on the supervisee’s competencies, qualifications and professionalism
✅ Utilize creative and educational prompts in group play therapy supervision sessions to facilitate supervisee discussion and instruction
✅ Assess one’s personal style as a supervisor and identify its importance on the supervisee and the supervision relationship

🎨 Participants will be required to create at least one experiential therapeutic project. Participation is required as we will periodically check to be sure all cameras are on.
🍎 An exam with a passing score of 80% is required for all Virtual Live Webinar & Home Study CEs. Participants may re-take the exam if needed until a passing score of 80% is achieved. All personal info related to our students including email addresses, exam scores, etc remains confidential within the Willow's Crown.
👩🏻💻 Live trainings are video recorded. All who sign up for and participate in live in person or live webinar trainings consent to being video recorded. Participants will have access to the recordings after the event for future reference and are made available for Home Study purchase by others.
Because some live events include private discussion groups, art projects and other activities, some home study recordings will offer a smaller CE value than the original live course.

About Your Teacher, Gabrielle Anderson, LMFT, RPT-S™
Gabrielle Anderson, LMFT, RPT-S™, the teacher for this training is a previous board member for the Virginia Play Therapy Association. She is a therapist for children, teens and adults and enjoys weaving play therapy and other expressive modalities into sessions when appropriate.
